The Latest Growth, New Projects and Screening Updates
We’re happy to announce that the little team that created What’s Organic About Organic? has officially now formed a new production company–Little Bean Productions LLC! (a new website as well as a shift in our newsletter will be coming soon–we’ll be sure to ask if you want to opt in to continue getting updates on WOAO as well as our other storytelling projects).
Along with this growth has come two newly completed short films, available on the web and free (hooray sponsors!) for your viewing pleasure. Yes, that’s right folks, The Rye Bread Project film is done as well as a quick little film we did in our brand new home of Gainesville, FL called, 441 Cash Mob. It’s all about growing the local economy by spending our food dollars locally!
We also have Shelley’s blog posts from the On Screen In Person tour to share. Think the life of a filmmaker is full of glamorous jet-setting? Well, you can find out all about the reality of traveling, meeting audiences, sharing the film, and back sprains in these posts:
St. John, USVI
Plus, Shelley’s heading North for a couple of screenings at the end of this month! First, she’s off to Bryn Mawr College’s Food Week. Then, she’ll head to her home state of Tennessee for the Tennessee Organic Grower’s Association Conference in Nashville! We hope you’ll tell your friends there!
In the coming months, look for news about viewing WOAO online… We’re excited about sharing this film with a worldwide audience. It’s high time, don’t you think?!
