The Brooklyn Bridge CSA is joining forces with the wider Pursue community to proudly host a special screening of “What’s ‘Organic’ About Organic?” – a new documentary about what’s really behind the organic label. The screening will be followed by a Q&A and discussion with director Shelley Rogers.

Place: Congregation Mount Sinai at 250 Cadman Plaza West (map)

Cost: Free! Please RSVP at http://whatsorganic.eventbrite.com/

Vegetarian snacks will be provided but feel free to bring some pot luck snacks of your own (for sharing!).

Director Shelley Rogers will be on hand to introduce the film and lead an exciting post-film program about the impact organic food production has on food justice and how we can take a more active role as “food citizens” to make our food system more just.

Feel free to invite family, friends, and networks to what promises to be an engaging and empowering event!

We will also be collecting non-perishable (preferably organic) food items for Brooklyn Bridge CSA’s emergency food provider, Hanson Place Seventh-day Adventist Church.
