Southern Comfort, official WOAO? jibberjabber, and Hungry Filmmakers

The cold may have touched almost every state of the Union, but the South still radiates a warm welcome… And what better way to feel welcomed then to have WOAO? selected to screen at two film festivals.

magfestThe first festival was this weekend at the Magnolia Film Festival in Starksville, MS. WOAO? kept the food conversation going as Saturday night’s feature film.

FFFThe second festival will take place in none other then the sunshine state itself at the Florida Film Festival in Maitland, Fl on April 10th. WOAO? was selected to kick off the Food Focused Film weekend! As always, if you’re in the area stop on by it should be a great time.

Getting Back to Our Roots!

GreenevilleFLYER_FINAL“WOAO?” Director/Producer, Shelley Rogers is coming home to Greeneville this Thanksgiving with a surprise… On Saturday November 21st at The Behan Arena at Tusculum College, Shelley will be having a fundraising screening of WOAO? that will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local farmers Rachel Bewley & Robert Mc Sweeney of Moon Creek Garden, Richard Spain & Sally Causey of Rural Resources and our own locally grown Shelley Rogers.

Local celebrity/environmental activist, Park Overall, will be there to introduce the film. The panel will be moderated by the editor of The Greeneville Sun, John M. Jones, Jr.

All proceeds from the screening will benefit the WOAO? post production (final techie stuff) & Rural Resources. We are eager to get this movie out of our hands and into the community.

For those of you who can’t make it but would like to help out and be a part of this essential part in production, we are still welcoming donations (see details on our website).

Another quick note: Our website will be expanding in the coming months and you’ll soon have the option to purchase the preview DVD, so keep a look out.
